Motorboats are quite different from Houseboats and Shikkara boats. Motorboats are mainly used for Transportation in Kerala Backwaters. A motorboat is comparatively smaller than the Houseboats but bigger than the Shikkara boats. The most exciting feature of a shikkara is that it can go even into very small canals and interiors which houseboats and motorboats can not traverse.
